  • Innovation in Technology: Leading digital transformation, implementing cutting-edge technological solutions, or challenging the status quo through innovative ideas and initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Leadership: Leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and improve bank performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who is eligible for the Banking on Brilliance Award?

A: The award is open to women currently employed in community banks or financial institutions serving community-focused markets within the United States. Nominees should hold a leadership role and/or have demonstrated excellence in innovation or data-driven leadership.

Nominees do not need to be a KlariVis client to win.

A: After the nomination period closes, a diverse panel of industry experts will score the nominees on the following criteria to determine the final winners:

  • Demonstrated Excellence: The nominee should have a proven track record in at least one of the following:
    • Innovation in Technology: Leading digital transformation, implementing cutting-edge technological solutions, or challenging the status quo through innovative ideas and initiatives. 
    • Data-Driven Leadership: Leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and improve bank performance.
  • Impact: Evidence of significant, measurable impact within their bank or community as a result of their efforts.
  • Leadership: A strong example of leadership, vision, and the ability to inspire others.

A: Nominating someone is easy! Simply fill out the nomination form on this page, providing details about the nominee’s achievements in innovation and leadership. Be sure to include any supporting materials that highlight their impact.

A: Nominations are open from August 26th to September 27th. Be sure to submit your nomination before the deadline to ensure it is considered.

A: No, there is no cost associated with the Banking on Brilliance Awards, and no purchase necessary. Submitting a nomination for the Banking on Brilliance Award is completely free. 

A: Yes, self-nominations are allowed. However, self-nominations must be supported by at least one additional reference or endorsement.

A: This year's award winners will be honored during a dedicated event, along with recognition through press releases, social media, and industry publications. Additionally, winners may be offered speaking opportunities and other benefits to further their contributions to the industry.

A: Yes! Former recipients are eligible to be celebrated with a 2024 Banking on Brilliance Award if they continued to meet the award criteria throughout 2023-2024.
